Cancer Treatment Is No Longer One Size Fits All

Cancer Treatment Is No Longer One Size Fits All

True North conceptualized and produced an impact video for the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network), one of the leading scientific organizations exclusively dedicated to improving the quality of life and survival of patients. Our approach was to make the video energetic, reflecting the momentum and progress of clinical trials, while using dynamic type to keep the viewer engaged from start to finish. Because ECOG-ACRIN focuses on patient input and wellbeing—our storyline highlighted the uniqueness and diversity of those affected by cancer and why there is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment.

In just over two minutes, this substantial video communicates ECOG-ACRIN’s recent major research advances. Our video made its debut at ECOG-ACRIN’s virtual spring conference in front of an impressive group of oncologists, cancer researchers, clinical research staff, nurses, and patient advocates. From developing new drug combinations and treatment approaches using genomic sequencing to identifying more effective imaging methods for earlier detection, the achievements demonstrate how innovative research can lead to breakthroughs. We learned a lot by writing the script and developing the video content, and we sleep a little easier knowing that ECOG-ACRIN is working tirelessly to develop more clinical trials that can bring lifesaving treatment opportunities to patients.
